Thank You is not optional

My mom always taught me to say thank you AND send a Thank You card for any gift received. After years and years of doing so, I realize this is not the norm. Sadly people don't care enough to acknowledge your gift etc. and I find that very, very rude, selfish and lazy. Whatever happened to common courtesy?
Both of my kids send 'Thank Yous' which are better late than never you can say...usually within a month of receiving...

We hardly ever give gifts anymore because we have been burned so many times with users and unthankful people! I mean honestly, you can pick up some nice cards at the Dollar Store so there is no excuse. Just remember KARMA and she does get around! ;)
